On a bright yellow ground, a psychedelic Union Jack and a line of guardsmen surround the airline's mascot, pure late-1960s pop. The artist is not recorded in the sources we could check. Created by Bobby Kooka in 1946, the Maharajah starred in Air India advertising for decades. Poster House in New York notes the irony of the choice: India's princes were losing their power after independence in 1947, and some critics called the mascot a relic of the feudal past, yet he became one of aviation's best-loved characters.

The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.

Comes in sizes Small to 4XL.

Comes in 3 colors: Black, Navy and Red.

Care instructions: Machine wash warm, inside out, with like colors.
