The artist is not recorded in the sources we checked. The Angel was completed in 1910 for the centennial of Mexico's independence and quickly became the capital's emblem. By the late 1930s new highways and air services were bringing more American visitors south of the border, and the national tourism office used posters like this one to present Mexico City as a modern, monumental destination.

The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.

Comes in sizes Small to 4XL.

Comes in 3 colors: Black, Navy and White.

Care instructions: Machine wash warm, inside out, with like colors.
