Aviation Artist Rick Broome has released a special Limited Edition Fine Art Lithograph on Satin Artist Paper measuring approximately 12x17. This edition features the venerable MD-83. One of the most iconic aircraft in commercial aviation history, the retirement of the MD-80 and it's final flight with American Airlines will be September 4, 2019 from DFW to ORD.
This print is a true treasure featuring one of the original TWA MD-83, N971TW, on an early morning flight.
The Original Painting has been remastered from it's first iteration which was done exclusively for Gemini Jets with their MD-83 1/250 models.
This is an extremely limited edition print each hand signed and numbered by Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame and Living Legends Nominee, Artist Richard "Rick" Broome.
Rick has created almost 4000 original paintings and is known for his contribution to the United States Air Force Academy as well as his historically accurate and detailed Commercial Aviation Art. Rick was the official artist for the Old Frontier Airlines back in the 1970's and early 80's.
The painting is also available as a One Off Studio Art Proof on Canvas. These are also limited in production. The canvas editions will measure approximately 18x24 and valued over $750 each.
