A small red-and-blue bird in flight leads the navy "Atlantic Airways" name across this long white strip sticker. Atlantic Airways, the national airline of the Faroe Islands, was established in 1987 and flew its first service between Vágar and Copenhagen on 28 March 1988 with a British Aerospace 146. Its home remains Vágar Airport, the islands' only airport, and stickers like this were handed to passengers for their bags on journeys out over the North Atlantic.
