A simple, sunny piece of airline marketing: the Alitalia wordmark over the word sunsaver, a reservations telephone number and a stack of red stripes suggesting a sun sinking into the sea. The sticker shares its reservations number with Alitalia's 1993 calendar sticker, placing it in the same era of the airline's promotions. Alitalia was founded in 1946 and served as Italy's flag carrier from its Rome Fiumicino hub until it ceased flying in October 2021, when its operations passed to the new ITA Airways.
