Bold white letters on cool blue spell out Perishable Keep Frozen, with Pacific Western in italic type across the top. This was a working handling label for freight, the companion to PWA's green Do Not Freeze tag. Pacific Western, based in Richmond, British Columbia and later Calgary, was bought by the Government of Alberta in 1974 and sold in 1983. In 1987 it merged with Canadian Pacific Air Lines and Nordair to form Canadian Airlines International.
