A red airplane flies past a Moroccan tower under a deep blue sky in this restored, vintage-style "Au Maroc par avion" – to Morocco by air – poster art. Aéropostale did issue an original poster with that title around 1928, designed by Jean Jacquelin, to promote its mail service to Morocco. The route came first: Pierre-Georges Latécoère's line reached Casablanca in February 1919, and in 1927 Marcel Bouilloux-Lafont bought the business and formed the Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, whose pilots carried the mail onward to Dakar and South America.
