An Art Deco Air France poster from the 1930s carrying the slogan "Dans tous les ciels," "In all skies." A stylized white figure holds aloft a globe bearing the airline's winged emblem against a field of blue. The artist is not recorded here. The poster dates from Air France's first years: the company was formed in 1933 by merging Air Orient, Air Union, CIDNA and the Farman lines, and its winged seahorse emblem, nicknamed "the shrimp," stayed in use until 1975.
