In this 1958 Air India poster for Bangkok, a Thai monk in saffron robes walks beneath an orange umbrella with the city's temple spires behind, rendered in blues and purples that suggest a rainy day. Dealers describe the airline's Maharajah mascot respectfully holding the umbrella for the monk, a gentle, good-humored touch typical of the campaign. The artist is not recorded in the sources we could check. The Maharajah was created in 1946 by Bobby Kooka, and Air India, founded in 1932 and nationalized in 1953, served Bangkok on its routes east from India.

The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
