A white Ansett Australia twinjet climbs across this sticker, its navy tail painted with the stars of the Southern Cross and a small Australian flag, above the airline's name in heavy navy type. The company adopted the Ansett Australia name in mid-1990, more than half a century after Reg Ansett founded it in 1935. Airlines handed out stickers like this to passengers for their suitcases. Ansett went into administration on 12 September 2001, and its last commercial flight landed in March 2002.
