Balkan Bulgarian Airlines was Bulgaria's national carrier, tracing its start to a 1947 Ju 52 flight from Sofia to Burgas and taking the Balkan name in 1968. Based in Sofia, it flew until it was liquidated in 2002. Airlines handed stickers like this one to passengers to keep or put on their bags.
