A stylized gondolier leans on his long oar against a blue ground in this 1950s "Fly BOAC - Italy" poster. A BOAC Italy design featuring a gondolier is credited by dealers to the Italian artist Aldo Cosomati (1897-1977), a silkscreen issued with BOAC's partners Qantas, South African Airways and Tasman Empire Airways named on it. BOAC, Britain's state long-haul carrier formed in 1940, served Italy as a stop on its trunk routes south and east from London, and Venice was the obvious image to sum up the country in a single figure.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
