On this round Boeing sticker a stubby cartoon 737 dives straight toward the viewer, big engine intakes forward and blue cheatlines along its sides, with red '737' numerals behind. The original 737-100 first flew on April 9, 1967, and entered service with launch customer Lufthansa in February 1968. From that modest start the family grew into one of the most-ordered jetliners in history, with more than 12,000 delivered.
