A Braathens SAFE 737-400 climbs through a pale blue sky on this sticker, with the type name in large gray serif letters, the airline's name beside a Norwegian flag and the line 'The Norwegian Flag Carrier.' Shipowner Ludvig G. Braathen founded the airline in 1946; SAFE stood for South American and Far East Air Transport. Braathens SAFE introduced the 737-400 in 1989, using it mainly for charter flying.
