Two navy up-arrow panels, each with the Braathens SAFE name along the foot, make up this handling label, the kind applied to luggage and cargo to show which side should stay on top. Its torn, taped edges show it was peeled from real use. Braathens SAFE, founded in Norway in 1946 by shipowner Ludvig G. Braathen, flew under that name until the late 1990s, and in 2004 merged with SAS Norway to form SAS Braathens.
