A shimmering silver-foil version of Braniff's classic roundel, with 'Braniff Airways' in blue around a globe of the Americas and 'International' in red script sweeping across the middle. The metallic printing gives it a jewel-like look next to the airline's paper labels. Braniff International Airways was the name the Dallas-based carrier adopted for its expansion to South America, where flights began in June 1948, and the company continued to fly until it ceased operations on May 12, 1982.
