Bold white BRANIFF lettering fills this red roundel, topped by a casual "it's" and a small black jet silhouette, with INTERNATIONAL AIRWAYS curving beneath, all framed by a cream border. Stickers like this were given to passengers to dress up their suitcases. Braniff was founded in 1928 by brothers Tom and Paul Braniff in Oklahoma, took the name Braniff International Airways in 1948 as South American service began, made its home at Dallas Love Field and later DFW, and ceased operations on 12 May 1982.
