A red oval with a silver wing carries 'Fly Central Airlines' in big cream letters, with a twin-engine Central airliner speeding along the bottom edge. Central Airlines was based at Meacham Field in Fort Worth, Texas, and began scheduled service on September 15, 1949, between Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. It flew Douglas DC-3s from late 1950 and later Convair 600 turboprops, until it was merged into the original Frontier Airlines on October 1, 1967. Passengers received stickers like this for their bags.
