A silver four-engine airliner flies diagonally across four panels of red and teal sprinkled with white stars, above the Colonial Airlines name in spaced capitals. Colonial was founded on 6 March 1928 as Canadian Colonial Airways to carry Foreign Air Mail Route No. 1 between New York and Montreal, and took the Colonial Airlines name in 1942. It flew DC-3s and DC-4s, added Bermuda in 1947, and merged into Eastern Air Lines on 1 June 1956.
