A Continental Boeing 747 sweeps across a colorful island medallion of palms, clouds and flowers on this sticker, lettered "Our Going Away Gift For You" above and "Continental to Hawaii" below. Continental put the 747 into U.S. domestic service on 26 June 1970, the second carrier to do so after TWA, flying it from Chicago and Denver to Los Angeles and Honolulu. Airlines handed out cheerful stickers like this for passengers to put on their luggage before heading to the islands.
