This 1974 Delta Air Lines poster sells North Carolina as a place to play. A golfer swings through on a crisp white ground, framed by blooming azaleas, two images that point to the state's celebrated golf resorts and its springtime gardens. The illustrated collage style links it with Delta's other destination posters from the same year, including Detroit, Hawaii, New Orleans, New York and San Francisco.
