Chicago Flyer reads the script on this round Eastern Air Lines label, where a coral falcon flies past a cluster of golden skyscrapers above blue water. Eastern added a Chicago to New York route in 1934, and by 1937 its system also stretched from Chicago south to Miami. Labels like this were handed to passengers to put on their luggage, a little badge showing which Eastern service had carried them. Eastern, founded as Pitcairn Aviation in 1926, flew until January 1991.
