A golden falcon soars over a blazing sunrise and a vivid pink sky on this round Eastern Air Lines label, with Miami Flyer in black capitals. By 1937 Eastern's route system ran from Chicago to Miami and from New York down the East Coast, and the Florida sun was the airline's best advertisement. Passengers on these services were given a label like this to stick on their luggage. Eastern began in 1926 as Pitcairn Aviation and flew until January 1991.
