A carved Celtic high cross towers over the Irish countryside in this early-1950s TWA poster, while a woman by a cottage greets a man on horseback and a Lockheed Constellation flies over the green fields beyond. The lettering runs deep green across the sky and red below. Dealers credit the design to Simon Greco (1917–2005), the Life magazine illustrator who drew several of TWA's propeller-era posters, from the years when Shannon was the airline's Irish gateway.
