Gast in Bayern means Guest in Bavaria, and this blue-bordered sticker says it in big blue letters beside the Bavarian state coat of arms, its two golden lions holding the blue-and-white lozenge shield under a crown. The small print along the bottom names the Bayerisches Staatsministerium fuer Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Technologie, the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Transport and Technology, which issued it to welcome visitors. A tourism sticker rather than an airline one, it sat well alongside airline labels on a traveller's case.
