The black star of Ghana sits at the centre of this white sticker, with red, gold and green stripes on either side and the Ghana Airways name. A tab below reads When you have a choice, fly Ghana Airways DC-10. Founded by the government of Ghana on 4 July 1958, the airline was the country's flag carrier, based at Accra, until it ceased operations in June 2005. Its own McDonnell Douglas DC-10 was delivered in February 1983, after a period flying one leased from KLM.
