In cream letters on a red ground, this label reads Handley Page Air Services, Paris, London, with the winged HP emblem between the two cities and Handley Page Transport Ltd along the bottom. Frederick Handley Page set up the airline in 1919, just after the First World War, flying converted O/400 bombers between London and Paris, and a London-Paris service from Cricklewood began in 1920. On 31 March 1924 it merged with three other British airlines to form Imperial Airways.
