This restored, vintage-style design advertises Imperial Airways flights to Le Touquet, the resort town on the French side of the English Channel. The art pairs the French and British flags side by side, a simple and confident emblem of the short hop between the two countries. Imperial Airways was the British airline of the years between the two world wars, and its posters sold air travel as the smart, modern way to reach the Continent.
