Just three words, JOT WE DE, in big white letters on a red square sit above the boxed LTU International Airways logo, a playful dialect-style slogan from the same series as the airline's other red-square stickers. Passengers picked up stickers like this for their suitcases. LTU was established in 1955 as Lufttransport Union, began flying in 1956 and was headquartered in Düsseldorf from 1961. It flew under its own name until Air Berlin bought it in March 2007.
