The square version of Luxair's happy-jet sticker puts a wide-eyed, smiling Boeing 737 on a field of blue, with "Boeing 737" arched overhead and the Luxair name and emblem beneath. Luxair, the flag carrier of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, started operations in 1962 from Luxembourg Airport, and added the Boeing 737-200 to its fleet in 1977. The playful mascot made the twin-jet feel friendly to young and old flyers alike, a lighthearted bit of small-country airline charm.
