A light-blue cartoon jet with big eyes and a grin swoops across this sticker, its tail marked with Maersk's white star and the words "Boeing 737-500" curving below. Maersk Air, the Danish airline of the A.P. Moller shipping group, was founded in 1969 and flew from Billund and Copenhagen. Its first Boeing 737-500 arrived on 6 April 1990, and the type opened new routes such as Billund to London Gatwick. Maersk Air was merged into Sterling in 2005. Airlines gave stickers like this to passengers for their bags.
