Under a towering white cloud, a DC-9 climbs past a snow-capped mountain on this die-cut sticker, which proudly declares the jet the Top of the Twinjets. McDonnell Douglas built 976 DC-9s after the type's first flight on February 25, 1965, and the first entered service with Delta Air Lines that December. Its rear-mounted engines and T-tail made it a familiar sight at airports large and small, and stickers like this one helped the manufacturer spread the word.
