This pennant-shaped label promotes the Sky Zephyrs, Northwest's name for its Lockheed 14H airliners. Northwest was the launch customer for the type, receiving its first in September 1937 and putting it on the Chicago-Twin Cities route that October, advertised as the world's fastest transports. The Sky Zephyrs served only briefly; after a series of accidents they were withdrawn by summer 1939 and replaced with Douglas DC-3s. That short run makes this sticker a rare snapshot of a single chapter in the airline's story.
