A black winged kangaroo springs from an orange-red globe on this cream sticker, with QANTAS AIRWAYS in bold orange and the line Australia's Round-the-World Jet Airline across the top. Qantas began on November 16, 1920, in Winton, Queensland, as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services, and its name is an acronym of that title. It flew its first round-the-world services in 1958 with Super Constellations and entered the jet age when its first Boeing 707-138 arrived in June 1959.
