A grinning cartoon Boeing 737, nose-on with its engines spread like arms, fills a bright yellow disc ringed by "Hong Kong-Brunei" and "Royal Brunei Airlines." Royal Brunei was established on 18 November 1974 with two new Boeing 737-200s, and its first services on 14 May 1975 linked the new Brunei International Airport with Singapore, Hong Kong, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. The 737s were later sold as the airline grew and moved on to the Boeing 767.
