Cut in the shape of an aircraft cabin window, this sticker looks out on the rose-red carved facade of the Treasury at Petra, with "Jordan" written across it in red script, part of the airline's "Your Window on the World" theme. Royal Jordanian began in December 1963 as Alia, named for King Hussein's eldest daughter, and became Royal Jordanian Airlines in December 1986. Airlines gave out stickers like this for passengers to put on their luggage, and this one doubled as a postcard for the country.
