A twin-engine flying boat crosses a glowing orange sun on a pale-blue disc, ringed by "S.A. Navigazione Aerea" and "Genova." Societa Anonima Navigazione Aerea was formed in Genoa in January 1925 and began flying on 7 April 1926, linking Genoa, Rome, Naples and Palermo by sea. Its fleet was built on Dornier Wal and Super Wal flying boats, and routes later reached Barcelona, Athens, Tripoli and Alexandria. In 1934 it merged with other Italian carriers to form Ala Littoria.
