This pale blue oval sticker spells out TACA in heavy navy capitals beneath a speeding streak of red, yellow and blue, with International written in flowing red script. TACA was founded in Honduras in 1931 by Lowell Yerex, a New Zealander and Royal Flying Corps veteran. It moved its headquarters to El Salvador in 1945 and became an international carrier based in San Salvador. After merging with Colombia's Avianca, completed in 2013, it carries on today as Avianca El Salvador.
