This vintage-style design for Trans Australia Airlines, better known as TAA, centers on an Aboriginal man beneath the invitation to "Travel across Australia." TAA leaned on Australian imagery throughout its advertising; the National Museum of Australia holds a 1950s TAA poster, "There and back with TAA," built around six boomerangs, a symbol prized by tourism and transport promoters because it always comes back. This restored artwork carries that same idea of a national airline linking the whole continent. The original artist and date are not recorded.
