A compact square sticker in deep blue, inviting travelers to Fly TTA in pink and white lettering above the word Convairs. Trans-Texas Airways bought 25 Convair 240s from American Airlines, and the first entered TTA service on 1 April 1961, so this design dates from the Convair years. The Houston-based airline grew out of Aviation Enterprises, a fixed-base operator founded in 1940, took the Trans-Texas name in 1947, and became Texas International Airlines on 1 April 1969.
