An adobe bell wall with its hanging mission bells glows against warm orange in this late-1960s United Air Lines poster for San Diego. Dealer listings credit the design to James Jebary, who created many of United's bold, simplified destination posters in the second half of the 1960s. The bells recall the old Spanish missions strung along the California coast, beginning with Mission San Diego de Alcala in 1769. Jebary's flat color fields and strong silhouettes mark the shift from the painterly airline posters of the 1950s to the graphic jet-age style.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
