The Space Needle and the soaring white arches of the Pacific Science Center stand out against a clean white ground in this 1964 United Airlines poster for Seattle. The artist is not recorded. Both landmarks were built for the Century 21 Exposition, the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, which United had promoted with posters of its own; the Science Center's lacy Gothic-modern arches were designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki. Two years after the fair closed, the Needle had already become the city's signature, and United used it to sell Seattle as the gateway to the Pacific Northwest.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
