A young pilot strides toward his plane and waves, with more aircraft overhead, in this restored version of the U.S. Navy recruiting poster "Let's Go Milwaukee – Your Own Naval Aviation Squadron." The original was illustrated by Werner Kreuter, whose signature sits at the horizon, and dates to around 1941, on the eve of America's entry into World War II. It was screen printed in six colors and urged the city's young men to enlist today. An original is held by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in its Fly Now poster collection.
