Not every sticker went on a suitcase. This one is a Western Airlines visitor pass, with the red "W" logo, a big "VISITOR" heading, serial number 75587 and a hand-stamped date of Nov 16. Western began as Western Air Express, incorporated in 1925, and made its first flight in April 1926. Over six decades it grew into a major western carrier with hubs at Los Angeles and Salt Lake City before merging into Delta on April 1, 1987.
