A shamrock in a white triangular pennant leads this round green sticker, with IRISH AIR LINES across the middle, the names Aerlinte Eireann and Aer Lingus beneath, and a small airliner flying low along the edge. Aer Lingus began flying in 1936, and its sister company Aerlinte Eireann was formed in 1947 for transatlantic service, which finally began in 1958. From then on the two shared timetables and were known together as Irish Air Lines, until Aerlinte was fully merged into Aer Lingus.
