Aeronaves de México, the carrier founded in 1934 that later grew into today's Aeroméxico, issued this poster around 1950 to invite travelers to fly south of the border. A couple appears beneath a deep night sky scattered with stars, and the copy reads "Fly to Mexico via Aeronaves de México... your airline." The romantic, after-dark mood sells Mexico as a place of warm evenings rather than simply a destination on a timetable, and the friendly "your airline" line speaks directly to the traveler. The artist of this design is not recorded.
