The same title appears on a well-known 1934 Air France poster printed by Guiraud-Rivière, which shows an airliner over Marrakech. North Africa was where French airmail flying began: the Latécoère lines, later Aéropostale, opened Toulouse to Barcelona on Christmas Day 1918 and reached Casablanca in February 1919, before the company was folded into the new Air France in 1933.
