A colourful strip sticker announcing 'Air Canada to Singapore Starting 16th January', with a fierce dragon-dance head whose patterned body becomes an Air Canada airliner. In January 1985 Air Canada launched a Toronto-London-Bombay-Singapore service with Lockheed TriStars, three times a week. The route later grew to six weekly flights with Boeing 747s before Air Canada suspended its Singapore services in January 1991. It would be more than thirty years before the airline returned, with nonstop Vancouver flights in 2024.
