A round cream sticker with JOIN THE BATTLE FOR BRITAIN in heavy red capitals above Air Florida's swooping logo and name. It comes from the airline's 'Battle for Britain' campaign around its bid to fly between Miami and London, promoted with fares from 143 dollars one way. Air Florida was formed in 1972 and became one of the boldest low-fare carriers of the deregulation era, flying leased DC-10-30s across the Atlantic in the early 1980s. It went bankrupt in July 1984.
