French graphic artist Guy Georget (1911–1992) designed this "Italie" poster for Air France in 1963, one of a series of destination posters the airline commissioned from him in the 1960s. An abstract harlequin playing a mandolin dominates the composition in carnival blues, with Venetian symbols around him, including the campanile of St Mark's and a gondola. Originals were printed by Bedos & Cie in Paris. Air France had opened its European jet service with the Caravelle on the Paris–Rome–Istanbul route in May 1959, putting Italy just a short hop from Paris.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
